Our HBNO Essential Oil carrier oils are used as functional ingredients in some home care products.
Furniture polish:
Carrier oils, such as jojoba oil, are be used to make a natural furniture polish that will help to protect and shine your furniture. They are often blended with an essential oil such as orange oil to impart a fresh, clean scent.
Wood conditioner:
Similarly, products containing carrier oils can protect and shine the wood cabinets, doors, and window trim inside and outside your home.
Leather cleaner and conditioner:
Carrier oils, such as jojoba oil or almond oil, can be used to make a natural leather cleaner that will help to clean and condition your leather furniture and polish your leather shoes and accessories.
Cleaning solutions:
Carrier oils are used to make safe and natural cleansing formulations such as glass cleaners and stainless steel polish. They are often blended with essential oils to impart a fresh aroma.
Room fresheners:
Carrier oils, although themselves only lightly scented, are often blended with essential oils to make aromatherapy products and room fresheners. They dilute the highly concentrated essential oils and make them safer to use.
Candle-Making:
Carrier oils, in addition to diluting essential oils, help to prevent the essential oils from burning off too quickly. This is because carrier oils have a higher boiling point than essential oils. When carrier oils are added to candles, they help to slow down the evaporation of the essential oils, which means that the candles will smell stronger for longer.
Consult with our HBNO experts to discuss how our oils can be used in your particular product formulations. Note that many of our HBNO Carrier Oils are USDA Organic certified.
