YLANG YLANG OIL

In Indian medicine jasmine was traditionally used for pain symptoms of the stomach, head, teeth and eyes, itching, and skin diseases. Napoleon brought a bottle of Spanish jasmine, as recorded by his perfumer Chardin, as a gift to his wife Empress Josephine of France.
The scent of Jasmine stimulates the brain to release “encephaline,†a neurotransmitter which acts as an analgesic and induces euphoria. For this reason it is a remarkably effective antidepressant.
