Amla oil is renown for its hair restorative qualities. It has been known to strengthen the hair follicles, condition the hair, prevent premature aging, prevent premature greying, restore hair growth, and help treat a dry, itchy scalp.Amla is a rich source of vitamin C. Laboratory tests show that every 100 gm of fresh amla provides nearly 700 mg of vitamin C - 20 times higher than an orange. The fresh fruit contains over 80% water and includes protein, minerals, carbohydrates and fibre, making it exceptionally conducive to replenishing moisture to the skin. Alma also contains notable amounts of calcium, phosphorus, iron, carotene and vitamin B complex.
